How can I delete or hide photos?

Whether you want to update your account photos or hide a stay photo, you can do it all right from your Rover profile. In this article, we’ll go over how to:

Hide Stay Photos

We encourage all pet sitters and dog walkers on Rover to keep pet owners updated with photos during every booking. Depending on the sitter’s settings, the photos they send may appear on their Rover profile or in other public places on the site.

We get that as a pet owner, you might want to keep some of those photos private, so you can always hide a stay photo. Here’s how:

1. Navigate to your profile by selecting your name in the upper right corner of your screen. Then select Profile.

2. Select View below your pet’s name.

3. From the Photo gallery, select the photo you’d like to remove from public view, then click on "Make This Photo Private" in the top left corner.

This photo will now just be visible to you and the sitter who sent you the photo.

Update Your Profile Photo

Your account will always need a profile photo, so instead of deleting it, you can update it to something new. Here’s how to change your profile photo:

1. Navigate to your profile by selecting your name in the upper right corner of your screen. Then select Profile.

2. Locate the Account Info section and select Update.

3. Select Upload Your Photo and choose a photo from your computer.
